Windows

I find it very difficult to get the side windows fast enough and work well.  Have to help the passenger side window when going upwards.  The motor works well when hot wired to the battery.  What should I do and where to start?

Sadly, that's a fairly typical old Ferrari problem. My mechanic usually replaces some components with 1980s era Alfa Romeo components and it works fine, there's also upgrade kit things (like accelerators) you can buy online as well. I think all these solutions are essentially just adding relays.

While not a 308 GT4, this video shows some excellent troubleshooting for slow Ferrari windows on a 365 GTC/4. Give it a watch, it's pretty interesting.
